Yummy Breakfast in less than 5 minutes!

Ok, you won't  believe how yummy this was!  And it's really healthy!

Microwave Peanut Butter Cup Oatmeal.

1)Pour 1 cup oatmeal in microwaveable bowl
2) Add enough water to cover.
3) Microwave until done (1 minute for me)
4) Add 1 1/2 -2 Tbs Peanut Butter
5) Add the same amount of honey
6) Sprinkle with cocoa powder
7) Dash of salt (optional)
8)Add milk as desired.  Enjoy!

Seriously so good.  A more sophisticated version would be almond butter with maple syrup and cinnamon.

Anyhoo, I ate this about an hour after drinking a green smoothie.  I am stuffed full of nutrition this morning and I love it!
Recipe:
2 large leaves of Kale
1/2 ripe banana
8 oz apple juice.
Cinnamon and nutmeg
Blend really well.  I have a new blender so it gets the kale to almost totally liquid.
I made this and almost plugged my nose before eating it.  I expected to have to choke it down.  I was surprised that it was SOOOOO yummy!  Even my kids liked it.  They said it tasted like sour apple and they want one of their own tomorrow!  Yay for healthy eating!

Baby Steps

Well, I'm trying to fly. How about you?
FlyLady cartoon
Yesterday, my sister-in-law popped over and it made me look at my house. Flylady calls it CHAOS: Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome.  Yeah, it was bad!  I've gotta get a better routine.
So, today I woke up a little late, lingered in bed while I heard the kids running in and out.
But I gathered my ambition into a peacorn of pep and got up, peed, took my pills with some crackers and water and exercised- with kids crawling all over me.  I did a denise austin 30 minute ballet sculpt.  My ballet definitely felt sculpted!  Not in a bad way, really.

Water helps all this happen, that's for sure.  How do you make sure you get enough? I think I'm just going to have water everywhere I go.  I'll keep some in my room and a full glass in the kitchen.  I find I'm more likely to drink if it's right there. I have washable straws.  Fun!
For a post-workout shake, I'm using my old favorite, pure protein from walmart. It's a whey protein powder I mix with my 1% milk.  Tastes good.  I think I could make this a regular.
For breakfast, I'll have some oatmeal and raisins with honey since I'm going to try to get my carbs in the morning (and my bowels could use it, lol)
But first, I forgot to swish and swipe after I peed.  Gonna hit that and the bed.  Gotta move fast to get read y for school.
I'll eat a pb honey sandwich at noon, then have some yogurt and a salad at 2 or so.  That's the plan.  We'll see how it goes.
For dinner? .... crap.  Dunno.  I have... fish fillets.  Yeah, we'll do that. with some steamed broccoli that needs to be used.  Huh.  Look at that.  Healthy!  WOOT! Probably gonna ruin it a bit with some icecream.  But it'll be homemade, so- that's better, right?
I have 1 month before my big three - oh.  I want to try for a loss of 2 lbs per week if I can.
Meanwhile, flylady is going to help me stay on track with the rest of the chores, etc.  Here goes!
